Harmanpreet Kaur Leads India into ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with Strong Squad

The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is set to begin in England on June 14. With about a month and a half remaining before the tournament, a 15-member squad led by Harmanpreet Kaur has been announced. The selection committee has prioritized experienced players. Yastika Bhatia returns to the squad, while Pratika Rawal has surprisingly missed out on an opportunity.
Smriti Mandhana is the vice-captain of the team. New faces in the squad include Bharati Fulmali and Nandini Sharma.
The Announced Squad: Harmanpreet Kaur (Captain), Smriti Mandhana (Vice-Captain), Shafali Verma , Jemimah Rodrigues,Deepti Sharma , Richa Ghosh (Wicketkeeper), Bharati Fulmali, Shreyanka Patil, Yastika Bhatia, Nandini Sharma , Renuka Singh Thakur, Arundhati Reddy, Krantee Gauv, Shreyanka Patil ,Radha Yadav
The squad has also been announced for the one-off Test match against England at Lord’s preceding the World Cup. That squad includes Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol.
