Shiv Narwal of India has won the gold medal in the Junior World Cup Archery organised by the IAHF, currently underway in Egypt. Returning to the field after a year, Shiv participated in the men’s 20-metre air pistol event of the competition.
The Indian player, who put up a fine performance right from the qualifying round of the competition, eventually managed to win the gold medal by defeating an Uzbek player in the final round.
Meanwhile, in the same event, Chirag of India has won the bronze medal. In the girls’ event, Panache has won the silver medal.
