Kartik Aaryan donates Rs 1 crore to Assam CM relief fund for flood relief

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has extended financial support to Assam as the state continues to battle devastating floods. The actor donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, a gesture that has been publicly acknowledged by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The Assam Chief Minister’s Office shared the news through its official X handle and thanked Kartik for his timely contribution. The post stated that the actor’s donation would support the state’s ongoing flood relief measures and help families affected by the natural disaster.
“Gratitude to actor @TheAaryanKartik for his generous contribution of ₹1 Crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. HCM Dr. @himantabiswa appreciated his commendable gesture and timely support toward state relief measures,” the Chief Minister’s Office wrote.
Himanta Biswa Sarma also reposted the message and personally thanked the actor. He wrote, “Truly heartened by your generous contribution, @TheAaryanKartik. Your support will go a long way in helping the people of Assam. #AssamFloods.”
Kartik’s contribution comes at a time when several members of the entertainment industry are using their influence and resources to support Assam. Alia Bhatt recently urged people to contribute to relief operations and drew attention to the fact that the state faces destructive floods almost every year.
