India has maintained its top position in the ICC T20 format team rankings. Since becoming champions in the T20 World Cup, the Suryakumar-led Team India has not yet taken to the field. In second place is England, who were defeated by India in the World Cup semi-finals.
It is noteworthy that after 2024, India has won the T20 World Cup title again this year. Just as they are on the field, Team India is the best in the ICC rankings as well. According to the latest ranking list, India is at the top with 275 rating points. Second-placed England has 262 rating points. World Cup runners-up New Zealand are in fourth place. On the other hand, despite exiting from the group stage of the World Cup, Australia has held onto the third spot in the ranking list. In fifth place is another semi-finalist team, South Africa.
