This is another major blow for the Mumbai Indians camp, which has continued its dismal performance this season. It is now confirmed that the team’s reliable New Zealand player, Mitchell Santner, is out of the IPL due to injury.
The 34-year-old New Zealand white-ball captain sustained an arm injury while fielding during the match against Chennai. However, due to the severity of the injury, he will finally return to New Zealand this week. New Zealand Cricket has stated that he will need at least one month to recover from this injury.
