British pop star Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Samsung for allegedly using her photo to sell televisions without permission. According to reports, the company used copyrighted images of Dua Lipa on the front of TV boxes used for retail sales without authorization.
The lawsuit states that the organization adopted an illegal method of generating revenue by using the star’s image in this manner. The allegation specifies that Samsung used her image on TV boxes titled “Dua Lipa—Backstage at Austin City Limits 2025”. The pop star filed the case in a California federal court last Friday.
