Randeep Hooda Arrives In Dibrugarh To Support Flood Victims In Upper Assam

Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda has arrived in Assam to extend a helping hand to the flood-affected communities, joining The Global Sikhs Foundation in their ongoing relief efforts.
From distributing essential supplies to standing beside families in need, the initiative aims to bring timely assistance and hope to those struggling in the aftermath of the devastating floods.
Landing at Mohanbari Airport in Dibrugarh, Hooda told reporters that he was deeply saddened by the scale of destruction caused by floods.
“There has been a heavy loss of life and property. We have come here to extend our help. The Global Sikhs Foundation is already here and is working to assist the flood victims. We will also extend our support by providing relief materials and other necessary assistance,” the actor said.
Soon after his arrival, Hooda left for Sivasagar to meet flood-affected residents, assess the damage firsthand and support the distribution of relief materials.
The actor has been closely associated with the Global Sikhs Foundation, a humanitarian organisation known for its disaster relief and rehabilitation work across India. The foundation has been actively engaged in relief operations in Upper Assam, providing essential supplies to families displaced by the floods.
Hooda’s visit comes as relief and rehabilitation efforts continue in parts of Upper Assam that have been battered by one of the worst flood spells this monsoon, with volunteers, government agencies and civil society organisations working to assi affected communities.
