Samsung Galaxy S26 Gets Smarter Noida R&D Center Drives AI Innovation for Flagship Series

Based on the Hindi news clipping provided in image.png, Samsung Electronics’ Research and Development Center in Noida (SRI-Noida) has played a pivotal role in developing several key AI features for the company’s newly launched flagship smartphone lineup, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series. Speaking on the achievement, Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director of SRI-Noida, revealed that their team initiated focused research on artificial intelligence nearly three years ago. Collaborating closely with Samsung’s primary R&D headquarters in Suwon, South Korea, the Noida center successfully co-developed advanced features such as “Now Buzz” and “Now Brief” to enhance user experience on the Galaxy S26.

Additionally, Roo highlighted the implementation of a dedicated “Direct Voicemail” feature, which was conceptualized and engineered strictly based on specific feedback from the Indian consumer market. While this feature was initially designed and rolled out for the mid-range Galaxy A series to test its regional viability, it has been officially integrated into a flagship premium lineup for the first time with this year’s Galaxy S26 series release.
