Virat Kohli has become the owner of yet another record in the IPL. In a match held against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Kohli, while coming out to bat, played an innings of 47 runs. With this innings, Kohli set the record for scoring the most runs against a single team in the Indian Premier League, or IPL.
In the match held at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli managed to reach a total of 1,174 runs against Chennai Super Kings in the IPL. Previously, Rohit Sharma held the record for scoring the most runs against a single team in the IPL by scoring 1,161 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Ultimately, Kohli surpassed Rohit’s record .
