Srijan Realty, one of Eastern India’s leading real estate developers, has announced the fifth edition of its flagship cultural initiative, Srijan Sharad Purashkar (SSP) 2025, celebrating Bengal’s Durga Puja spirit through the theme “Shobuj Sharadiya – Tradition Meets Responsibility.”
Introduced in 2019, the initiative honours housing society pujas while promoting creativity, community engagement, and cultural pride. Over the past five years, SSP has grown from 150 participants in its debut year to over 300 housing societies across Kolkata, along with 38 global associations of Non-Resident Bengalis. In 2024, it recorded a digital reach of more than 1.15 million viewers worldwide, highlighting its expanding global appeal.
The 2025 edition places a strong emphasis on sustainability. Housing societies are encouraged to design art and installations using recycled materials and e-waste, making devotion synonymous with environmental responsibility. This approach aims to transform the traditional festive celebration into a platform for eco-conscious innovation. Commenting on the milestone, Keshav Agarwal, Director, Srijan Realty, said, “Srijan Sharad Purashkar has always been more than an award — it is a celebration of cultural pride, unity, and creativity. As we mark five years, our focus on sustainability ensures that tradition and responsibility go hand in hand for future generations.” From a local recognition platform, SSP has now emerged as a global cultural movement that seamlessly integrates tradition with sustainability.
