Bollywood stars Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela, who have been filming “Aashiqui 3” in Sikkim, met Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang at his official residence with director Anurag Basu. In recognition of the team’s selection of the stunning Himalayan state for filming, the chief minister gave them customary presents and best wishes. According to the statement, Tamang also promised them during the April 1 evening meeting that the state government would continue to support their project’s successful completion. Basu acknowledged the state government’s support and thanked the chief minister on behalf of his team for his encouragement.
Aariyan was impressed by the residents’ zeal and emphasized how much love and support they got from them, particularly when filming outside. He also expressed his gratitude to the Sikkim Police for providing the crew with security, which allowed them to finish their work without incident. Sreeleela claimed that Sikkim’s stunning scenery, vibrant culture, and customs had enthralled her. She expressed her excitement, saying this made her first trip to the state in the northeast stand out. For a week, the film crew has been filming in Gangtok and the nearby locations, including Tsomgo Lake and MG Marg.
