Delhi Prepares Special Diwali Celebration with Spectacular Drone Show

The Delhi government is planning a special two-day celebration to mark Diwali, with a drone show based on episodes from the Ramayan expected to be the main attraction. The proposed event will take place on November 6 and 7 at Central Park in Connaught Place.

According to the plan, the drone display will present different episodes from the Ramayan, adding a distinctive attraction to this year’s festive celebrations. The initiative is expected to bring a special visual experience to people visiting the venue during the two-day programme.

However, the government is yet to finalise important details, including the total number of drones that will participate in the show and the schedule of the performances.

The proposed celebration reflects the government’s plan to organise special activities for Diwali in the national capital. Central Park, located in the busy Connaught Place area, has been selected as the venue for the festivities.

Last year, the Delhi government organised a large-scale lighting event at India Gate, where 1.25 lakh diyas were illuminated as part of the Diwali celebrations.

This year’s proposed drone show is expected to add a different dimension to the festivities by combining technology with a presentation of episodes from the Ramayan.

With preparations being planned for November 6-7, further details of the programme are awaited.
