BTC Announces Four-Helipad Greenfield Heliport in Kokrajhar

A greenfield heliport will be developed at the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Secretariat in Kokrajhar.
This was announced by BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary.
“The proposed greenfield heliport at the BTC Secretariat marks another important step towards strengthening connectivity and modern infrastructure in Bodoland,” Mohilary said.
The proposed facility will have four helpads besides many other modern amenities.
“Once established, the heliport will improve accessibility to Kokrajhar, enable faster movement of officials, and support emergency and essential services. It will also address the area’s growing developmental needs,” he stated.
“Our vision is to build a modern, well-connected and progressive Bodoland, where infrastructure creates greater opportunities for our people. The heliport will contribute to efficient administration, serve passengers and other users, and create a vibrant aviation environment across the territory, reflecting our commitment to a stronger and more connected BTC,” Mohilary added.
