Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General K.T. Parnaik (Retd.) has praised the people of the state for their exemplary patriotism and commitment to protecting India’s national unity and integrity. Describing Arunachal Pradesh as the sentinel of India’s eastern frontier, the Governor said its people have consistently demonstrated dedication towards the nation. Governor Parnaik, Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein jointly launched the statewide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, calling upon citizens to proudly display the National Flag and participate actively in the initiative. Chief Minister Khandu said the campaign goes beyond merely hoisting the Tricolour, as it seeks to deepen patriotism, strengthen national unity and reinforce the values that define India. During the launch, the Governor and Chief Minister handed over National Flags to young participants and joined them in singing ‘Vande Mataram’. Governor Parnaik described ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ as a people’s movement capable of rekindling patriotic spirit and strengthening emotional integration among citizens. He also emphasised that as India moves towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’, patriotism must be reflected not only in words but also through responsible actions. Respecting the Constitution, protecting public property, preserving the environment and serving society and the nation with dedication, he said, are essential expressions of patriotism. The campaign is expected to further strengthen the spirit of national unity and civic responsibility across Arunachal Pradesh.
