The victory march of Wushu players from Assam continues at the international level. Keeping this streak of success intact, Assam’s talented Avantika Das has won two silver medals at the International Invitational Kung Fu Championship held in Queensland, Australia. Representing the Indian team, Avantika managed to secure these two medals in the Traditional Single Weapon category’s Nanquan discipline. For the past two to three years, athletes from Assam have not had to return empty-handed from the international level. The Assam Wushu Association is leading the talented individuals of the state down the right path.
