The Assam team has been announced for the 20th National Woodball Competition, which is scheduled to be held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from May 14 to 17. A total of 12 male and female players were selected for the state team from a selection camp held in Guwahati last month. The selected players will participate in team events, doubles, mixed doubles, and singles categories in both the ‘Stroke’ and ‘Fairway’ divisions. The Announced Squad Women’s Team Sangita Das, Hiya Chetia, Sangita Sarma, Bichika Bora, and Khushboo Sultana.
Men’s Team Jitupon Das (Captain), Nirnay Sinha, Bhargav Das, Mridul Borgohain, Richard Kalita, Pranpratim Chaliha, and Jigyash Nath. The team will depart for the competition tomorrow.
