Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a Bollywood actor, charmed the audience at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025 with her charming appearance. She spoke freely about her long-standing job decisions, emphasizing that “insecurity has never been the driving force” behind them. Rai Bachchan, who began her film career with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Iruvar’ after winning Miss World 1994, stated that she has always tackled her assignments with clarity and passion rather than fear of criticism.
“I don’t feel insecure. That’s a true reflection of who I am, Aishwarya stated during a chat at the Red Sea Film Festival 2025. Insecurity has never been a driving factor, but many voices around can try to sneak into your head and sometimes influence your decisions. That has never been me. That’s clarity in all of my job choices, which I’ve displayed inadvertently but now realize in retrospect,” she said.
Rai Bachchan stated that her attitude also applies to social media, where she keeps a limited and intentional presence. Reflecting on her minimal online involvement, she stated, “Clearly, to those who have visited my one and only social media interaction platform, it has been quite bashful, quiet, and simple… I’m quite the silent rebel there. And I was like, no, I’m not going to do the expected… I wanted to set an example, but also make a statement asking others to stop misleading themselves into thinking that this is what they need to feel valued,” according to the site.
