South African cricketer Rassie van der Dussen has announced his retirement from international cricket. One of South Africa’s most successful batters in ODI and T20 cricket, he announced the conclusion of his international career at the age of 35.
Although he participated in 18 Tests during his career for South Africa, he was primarily one of the most reliable batters for the South African ODI team. He participated in 71 ODI matches for South Africa, where his batting average was 50. After AB de Villiers, he is the second most successful ODI cricketer for South Africa to maintain such a high batting average.
