Nothing launches Phone (3a) Lite in India at Rs 19,999; new blue variant set to boost mid-range competition

London-based technology brand Nothing has launched the Phone (3a) Lite in India, introducing a new Blue colour option along with the classic Black and White. The device features Nothing’s trademark transparent design, a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, a 50 MP main camera with TrueLens Engine 4.0, the MediaTekDimensity 7300 Pro chipset and a 5000 mAh battery. Priced at ₹20,999, the 8 GB + 128 GB variant will effectively cost ₹19,999 after bank discounts. Sales begin on December 5 across Flipkart, Vijay Sales, Croma and major retail outlets.

The Phone (3a) Lite maintains a refined, lightweight build with IP54 resistance and an aluminium internal frame. Its flexible AMOLED display supports a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 3000 nits peak HDR brightness. Camera features include Ultra XDR, Night Mode and 4K video at 30 FPS, supported by a 16 MP front sensor. The enhanced Glyph Light system offers notifications, Camera Countdown and custom contact alerts.

In Siliguri, retailers expect a strong early response, particularly for the Blue variant. Store owners say mid-range smartphones with premium aesthetics are performing well, and Nothing’s growing brand recall is likely to drive heavy pre-booking queries and walk-ins once sales open.

Powered by the Dimensity 7300 Pro, the handset offers up to 16 GB RAM (including virtual) and storage expandable to 2 TB. Nothing OS 3.5 based on Android 15, along with three years of major updates and six years of security patches, rounds off the offering.
