Bandhan Life Launches ‘iIncome Wealth’

Bandhan Life Insurance, the life insurance arm of the Bandhan Group, has launched a new plan—iIncome Wealth—that provides instant income within 5 to 7 working days of premium payment, along with life cover up to age 100. Designed to address urgent income needs and long-term security, the plan offers guaranteed income, potential cash bonuses, and enhanced benefits for women policyholders. The ‘Secure Policy Benefit’ ensures families continue to receive income and maturity benefits in the event of the policyholder’s demise, without further premium payments. The plan also provides a lump sum payout and guarantees at least 105% of total premiums paid.

With an entry age starting at three months, iIncome Wealth aims to help parents secure their children’s future milestones like education and housing. Women policyholders receive 1.5% extra income, promoting financial inclusion. Flexible premium terms (5–12 years) and coverage up to 45 years or age 100 make the plan adaptable. In Imphal, the launch has been met with optimism. Financial advisors noted that instant income and protection elements cater to the growing demand for dual-benefit plans among working families and women entrepreneurs in the region.

Satishwar B., MD & CEO, Bandhan Life Insurance, emphasized the significance of this innovation:
