The Bongaigaon administrator gives Durga Puja groups stringent instructions

The Bongaigaon district administration met with the Puja committees to make sure the celebration of Durga Puja went well. Under the direction of DC Navdeep Pathak, the meeting focused on cleanliness, pandal safety clearances, volunteer deployment, separate entry and departure for men and women, emergency number display, and ambulance readiness.

Additionally, the DC ordered that idol immersion be finished between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and that pandals not obstruct public roads. Committees were directed by Fire Officer Dayal Chakravarty to maintain fire safety equipment and guarantee access for fire service vehicles, while SSP Mohanlal Meena asked them to install enough CCTV cameras. The conference was attended by Durga Puja committee office bearers from all throughout the district.
